The Farm N' Home Casualty agency was originally opened in 1917 as the Dourough Agency by founder Henry Dorough. In 1944, Max Untersee became an acting partner and the agency became Untersee-Dorough Agency. After Mr. Dorough's retirement, Mr. Untersee became the agency manager in the late 1950's.

In 1988, Mr. Untersee sold the agency to the present owners, John Farris and Jeannie Dudley. During the 1st quarter of 1989, the agency added the name Farm N' Home Casualty to better reflect the goals of the agency.

Since then, the agency has had continued growth each year and has added new companies to its portfolio. Currently, Farm N' Home Casualty is staffed by five producers and three officer personnel to support the 20 different companies our agency represents.
